POSITION: IT DB-WEB-SYSADMIN OFFICER
Role & responsibilities:
∙ Provide second-level services to user in the area of daily IT Operation by assisting the IT Service Desk Unit for DB/Engines/Servers/Services related SR that cannot be solved over the phone/email
∙ Layers of coverage includes:
o DB Tier of all Enterprise Apps
o Apps Tier of all Enterprise Apps
o Supporting Tiers of all Enterprise Apps (i.e. SMS Gateways, relevant modems, etc)o All of related engines, services, background processes
∙ Perform proactive/preventive activities to achieve the highest level of availability and optimized system performance on the above-mentioned layers (including planned activities in the Production environment)
∙ Perform reactive /corrective activities to minimize any unplanned down-time on the above-mentioned layers in the Production environment
∙ Assist the IT Service Desk Unit for any escalated "Simple SR" or "Complex SR" issues on the above-mentioned layers
∙ Assist the IT Development Unit for any requirement on TEST environment needed on the above-mentioned layer
∙ Obtain the new application changes hand over from the IT Development Unit and make sure that all of the documentation completed and fully understood before rolling out the changes to end-users Qualifications:
∙ At least Diploma / Associate Degree from reputable university, majoring in IT/computer science relevant fields
∙ Having 1 year experiences as IT Support and/or Development unit is prefered, although fresh graduated candidates with broad knowledges are also welcomed.
∙ Good knowledges in Computer Networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Intra/internet, routers, etc), general network related hardware/software installations, configurations and troubleshootings
∙ Good knowledges in Enterprise Servers & Workstations (PC/Laptops) with various platforms (Linuxes, MS- Windows, Macintosh) installations, managements & troubleshoot
∙ Good knowledges in Enterprise Servers & Workstations (PC/Laptops) with various platforms (Linuxes, MS- Windows, Macintosh) installations, managements & troubleshootings
∙ Good knowledges in OS (Windows Server & Linux), DB servers (mySQL, Oracle), SQL commands, PHP Scripts, Apache settings, Applications & DB Security settings, etc
∙ Fast-learner, helpful, good team player and a result-oriented person
